I just got Preddy's "Cripes a Mighty 3rd" the other day and it is my third HobbyMaster Mustang. I think it is the best release so far in regards to details and finish, it just looks awesome!

Pretty much unanimous praise for the HM 1/48 P-51's.
Not a bad one in the bunch, with 'Cripes" seeming to be a favourite.

I concur completely that the tooling on the Hobbymaster 1:48 P-51 is fantastic. The Spitfires and FW-190s also look amazing. I love how the planes combine detail with functionality and features - always positive points in my book. I saw the Glenn Eagleston 1:48 P-51 in person a while back at my local Hobbytown USA store and It took a force of will not to walk out of that store with it.
The only thing that's been keeping me from going all out with the Hobbymaster 1:48 planes is space - I'm running out of room to display everything, so for the time being I've limited my 1:48 Hobbymaster collection to the pre-war aircraft. I'm sure I'll cave in eventually

Hobbymaster is on an incredible roll. Let's hope they bring out more 48th scale warbirds. Just beautiful models.
