Like the 4.Panzer 234/1 coming out.
Sad no new panzer types(early IVs or IIIs) coming out.

Re: New Panzerstahl 2011!!!
I like the second 234/4 colors. I am a real sucker when it comes to late war schemes.
BTW, Anyone knows what the tubular thing is just right to the gun breech? Although it's on at the PS photos, I don't have it on my Prague model.
Cheers
Luke

Thanks
Re: New Panzerstahl 2011!!!
Just got the 88013 Sd.Kfz.234/2 'Puma' - 2.Pz.Div., Normandy 1944
First off, the wheels do not roll and the gun turret does not rotate either.
Also the gun barrel doesn't elevate/depress.
Based on price I assumed they would.
However not knowing that much about the Puma I thought maybe the turret did not rotate, but then I checked for old pictures and I found one with it rotated and the HM version rotates.
Bit of a downer but I can't say it's a ripoff as their website didn't specify whether or not they moved.
The aerials are what attracted me to it in the first place but I think the HM is better value
Too bad as they have some nice variants being released in the next few months.
They also have a Dingo and no mention on their website if the wheels roll, can anyone confirm??
I'd post a picture but gave up on that a long time ago

I also got the 2 panzer div. puma. I will post a review. The wheels on the puma seems inaccurate though, based on actual pics of the puma.

Re: New Panzerstahl 2011!!!
I asked Panzerstahl about the non rotating turret, wheels and gun on the Puma and they said that none of them will rotate. They had initially wanted the turret to at least rotate, but due to "problems in mass production" they were not able to.
They also said that "feedback of prior series showed that more than 95% of the customers just put the items on the shelf to look and don't want to "play" with it". The Dingo will not have rotating wheels either.

Thanks for the update, much appreciated.
OK, now to decide if I want to delete some preorders
Too bad about the Dingo

Thanks tshintl for the info. I think that the wheels moving is important if you decide to play with it or wargame, but not if you just decide to display it. I was too a bit surprised that the wheels don't move on my puma.

For me its a diorama situation, the wheels are not a big deal but would have really liked a rotating gun turret.

Re: New Panzerstahl 2011!!!
I have noticed the wrong wheels pattern before. How does the aerial look on Puma? Any thoughts on actual details compared to HM release?

Re: New Panzerstahl 2011!!!
The wheels aren't that big of deal, it's not like many people are going to be rolling it around on the living room floor. The tracks don't move on most models as well. Wargamers certainly don't roll their vehicles around the table.
But a rotating turret is pretty freaking important! Wargamers, diorama builders, and collectors all would like to at least have the option to rotate the turret! I guess that means the upcoming 234/1's turret won't rotate, either. Guess I'll be passing.
So if it's not important, why do the turrets rotate on their Pz. IVs?
