...but 1/32 Revell J2M3 Raiden kits are crawling out of the woodwork. Used to be maybe you'd see one or two a month, but right now there are 10 up for auction that I've seen.

Maybe somebody found that sunken ship with all the models on it and they didn't get wet? That would be cool.

My guess is they'll still go fairly high. I'll keep my eyes open for a good deal. Wouldn't mind having one myself. Though I don't know, would I even build it if I got one because they're so rare?

Too bad the Revell Kiwanishi Shiden "George" isn't flooding the market too.

I recently bought one of the Raiden kits for a $29 + shipping BIN. The decals were no good, but I think I can work around that. Interestingly the same seller listed the Tony for $49.

I think it's the same mold as the Doyusha kit. It's more of a toy. It's meant to be motorized with a battery pack under the cockpit, which is extremely shallow. The pilot figure is actually kind of compressed so that he fits in the cockpit.

Well, ended up snagging one for $72.50 total which wasn't as good as I hoped, but not as bad as I feared considering the rarity and all.

So now I have a Zero, Oscar, Tony and Jack to display. Now I just need to get a Claude, Tojo, Frank and George.
