What do you guys think about the 72nd scale Corgi Eurofighter Typhoon? I would like to get this model, but I would like some opinions on it. How does it compare to releases by Hobby Master? Thanks.

No I am asking about the Corgi Eurofighter, an I am asking how it would compare to the quality of any Hobby Master model say like their F-4.

I have one Corgi Eurofighter. The all black one, based at Leuchars. Not my favourite scheme, but RAF Leuchars has a family connection.

The Corgi jets are not quite as good as Hobby Master. But then again, HM is probably the best diecast company right now, with only Century Wings competing with them for quality.

There is nothing wrong with the Corgi jets, and they produce some British jets that no one else does. Like the EE Lightning, Buccaneer, Tornado, Jaguar etc. So Corgi are the only game in town for these jets. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away either.

Thanks Jack, I was sorta thinking the same thing, but I'm glad somebody with more experience on the Corgi line was able to comment on this.

Oh Aye! I see them almost every day from the window in my apartment. There's eight Typhoons based in Leuchars at the moment, with more on the way. Funny thing, BAE Systems engineer temporarily stays in the flat just next to mine. He works with the assessment team at the base. Told me that Leuchars Typhoons will specialize in tactical/strategic interdiction.

Cheers
