IXO 1:144 line?
I've been looking into the IXO 1:144 bombers and flying boats. Have the future releases been canceled? If so what a shame!

Re: IXO 1:144 line?
I just received IX0's BV-222 in the mail today. It's a beautiful model, the fuselage is diecast metal and the wings are plastic. Best of all there are no zip ties or screws in the packaging.....
Does anyone know the fate of the future releases in this line?
I know some are being released in Europe, are they going to make it to the States? Thanks!

Re: IXO 1:144 line?
i was happy with the IXO 1/144 line and it sold well in my store. The problem is it didnt do well in the U.S. and a couple distributors had issue with each other. the line will no longer be offered in the U.S. since the 2 distributors carrying it have dropped it. you can still buy from some reliable people overseas and also a couple sellers here in the USA. i buy for my own collection from a guy in texas and Portugal.

American_Grenadier, Thanks for the info! I guess I'll keep an eye out on evil-bay...
Re: IXO 1:144 line?
The real problem with the IXO "bomber" line in the U.S. was failure to deliver the product. Many dealers solicited pre-orders but the models didn't arrive for such a long period that interested parties---such as myself---went the eBay route. Ultimately, perhaps a fourth of the first 50 planes showed up but, by then, nobody cared. I suspect that IXO will pay a stiff penalty for this treatment of U.S. vendors the next time around.AMERICAN_GRENADIER wrote:i was happy with the IXO 1/144 line and it sold well in my store.
