Anyone have the 72nd scale Hobby Master F-22 model? I am thinking of getting one, and just wanted some opinions on the model. It is a Hobby Master product, so there is a great chance I will like it.

Not perfect, biggest issue is the gap on the closed cockpit glass and panel line gap below cockpit (easily fixable with white glue mixed with paint) but still a very good Raptor
Probably the best one available on the market with all things and features considered
Go for it

Saw one of these in the "Langley AFB" scheme at my Hobbytown store a couple weeks ago, held off the temptation for a few days and then caved in - it was just too cool of a model to pass up
Lots of features, including a highly detailed cockpit and the parts to display the landing gear up or down or the missile bays open or closed. The horizontal stabilizers are also adjustable. The missile bay pieces are highly detailed with the ordinance. There is a seperate panel to cover up the hole for the stand in case you display the plane on its gears. As Gouchy noted, there is the gap when the canopy is closed - and this is my biggest gripe - but a little glue or sticky tack will hold it shut.
My plane also came with this neat little wire "tool" to help one remove the landing gear parts, etc. when they are snapped in place.
Overall, the HM F-22 is a great model and well worth the purchase

Thanks guys, I am going to order one today. I display my models with the canopy open, so that should not be a problem.

My understanding is that the second release is better gap wise. AK, Elmendorf AFB.
That is the one I would go for.
