Looks like Famemaster is releasing an F-16, and F-18 to go with their F-14's that they have done. :D

Hopefully they will also do an F-15.

However, the F-16 and F-18 will be done in 1/48 scale.Would have preferred these in 1/32, as that is the scale the Tomcat was in.And it was pretty impressive.

Not sure where these will be available through, or price. Hopefully these will be available soon. :D

Aikens now has all four (2 F-16's & 2 F-18's) up for pre-order, but with no firm release dates or price. I was surprised at how big these models are in 1/48, the Aikens 4D Hornet is listed @ 16 inches long. The NSAWC "Desert Hornet" is gonna be awesome.....

I'll definitely pick up the Wolf Pack F-16.
I like the desert F-18 as well.

Has there been any indication when these will be available?

I don't think they don't have clear pieces, just removable panels.

Any word on these planes? They're still "TBA" at Aiken's.

I went to the local Hobby Store on a whim, and noticed that 4-D Vision F-14s on the shelf.
Since I already have one, I figured I check the status on the F-16/F-18.

When I asked at the front counter, they looked at me like I was speaking another language.
According to their info, there is nothing mentioning when (or if) the F16 or F-18 coming out anytime soon.

If these are like the 1/32 F-14s then they will look like a finished complete model. There are no clear pieces except in the internal engine parts. You can choose to leave off solid panels to be able to see the interior stuff.

I'm really disappointed that these new releases are not 1/32 like the F-14. Can't they make a series of planes that are all the same scale?! I would love to have these but really would want to display them with the F-14 I already have and hate the mixed scales.

It would have been OK to do the F-14 in 1/48 if they were planning on doing these in 1/48. I guess it's likely that the continued poor economy has caused them to downsize because of tooling costs etc..
Still disappointed and may not buy these at all.
If Hobby Lobby gets them eventually - wait for the 40% off coupons on there website for the best deal out there.

I've changed my opinion on wanting these, but doesn't appear they ever came out? Anyone know if where/if they are available?

Haven't seen them available, but haven't been actively looking either.

Not much help, I know.

I think the Framemaster website shows pictures of them, but I've never seen them for sale. I've only ever seen the F-14 (which I have) and the Space Shuttle at retail. The Shuttle, which is 1:72 scale and has full interior detail with crew figures, is very tempting. However, unlike the F-14 which can "close up" to look like a normal plane, the Shuttle has clear parts that cannot be covered over.
