HWORTH18:

I think I paid around $125-$130 plus shipping for my first Memphis Belle---that's why I'm reluctant to buy the second----but the second appears to be a lot more accurate.

They are priced around $175 on Ebay at the moment and don't seem to be selling. I would say more like $150 is the going rate right now.

The market is crazy right now.. Some stuff isn't selling at all and some is turning good money. Besides the 190, I just sold an Eileen P-47 for $68 and a Gabler 109 for $35. Not bad, and better than the $16 I originally paid. I have a Zero on there right now that is getting a lot of watchers, we'll see if they turn into buyers..

Never picked up the original Memphis Belle as it was just to expensive. But with a new release, which is supposedly better, I can see the price of the original dropping substantially.

I saw Harry's 1/32 P-47 "Eileen", which was used, go for $69 IIRC. And this month there were two 1/18 P-47 "Eileens" go for $370, and $525!

Hard to figure out Ebay sometimes. :?:
