WOW... FOV Tiger I #80204

Post by ostketten » Sun Aug 29, 2010 8:16 am

Check out this ebay auction for an FOV 1/32 Tiger I.... While these may be somewhat less common than some other FOV Tiger paint schemes, I can't imagine they are worth this much. This looks like a prime example of an ebay bidding frenzy that runs the price of an item up to well beyond it's actual value. Somebody must want this thing pretty bad, because at the current bid the winner is going to pay more than twice what these originally retailed for.

 Yeah you would think a bidder with over 2000 wins on ebay would know how to bid by now unless he's the sellers shill.

Not sure on the "rarity" of this, but that is a really expensive 1/32 Tiger.

Personally, I would have put that money towards a 1/16 Tiger.

Why can't FoV just re-release this? Another Challenger won't hurt either.

As far as I can remember, they weren't considered rare when they were released. There seemed to be plenty around. I'm sure you could considered anything released a few years ago to be rare today since so little is being produced.
