My Korean buddy, Chin Su, had a nice 5 shelf bookcase delivered to me tonight. So I was finally able to get my models off of my chess table and into some sort of display using the new shelf, one we had, and one we dug out of the trash.

I tried to group by eras (pre-WWII, WWII), by type (naval, USAAF, RAF), by pilot (Boyington P-40 and Corsair), etc. It got pretty complex. Does Boyington P-40 belong with his Corsair or next to the Ken Walsh Pearl Harbor P-40 followed by an RAF P-40? The list goes on and on.

I'm pretty happy with everything until I get to the very large 1:48 Ju-52, B-26, He-111, PBY Catalina, and B-25. Actually the Cat and Tante Ju won't fit on anything less than a table. So to use the shelf space I have I put the 1:200 Gemini Jets C-17 with the 1:48 RAF Hurricane and P-40. Sacrilage!

I got into this hobby for armor and my 6 tanks, 1 half-track, and one Flak 88 are crowding each other off their shared shelf. I don't know what to do when the next shipment arrives...a very nice problem to have! Now I think I know why my wife loves rearranging the house/furniture...there is a neverending combination!
