New 1/72 scale Hummers

Dragon announced today a new Dragon Armor 1/72 Hummer as well as a new CanDo 1/72 Hummer.
What's odd is that the CanDo Hummer is $4.99 each while the Dragon Armor Hummer is $9.95 each.
Both look pretty much the same and are 1/72 scale. They both include a display case and the only difference I think is that the Dragon Armor Hummer has a diecast chassis where as the Can Do Hummer might not (it doesn't say on their website).
The Dragon Armor Hummer is twice the price but looks no better than the CanDo Hummer for half the price. Granted the CanDo Hummer comes in 12 piece sets, but most dealers will sell them individually so shouldn't have any affect on the final price.
Just sort of weird Dragon comes out with 1/72 scale Hummers in two of their lines, but one is half the price of the other but yet neither one looks any better than the other.

Isn't the CanDo line 1/144 scale? I know that I have a good number of the early
1/144 tanks, and they were all ca. $5.00 - $6.00

Yes - Can.Do is typically 1/144th scale in armored vehicle, 1/35th in figures. But, the Humvees are specifically described as being 1/72nd scale. I guess the big difference will be the material that the vehicle is made from (diecast vs. plastic).

I thought it was an error and a misprint as well, until I saw the actual packaging the CanDo Hummers come in and it says 1/72 scale on the package. Picture of the package below.

I recently bought 3 pf the "Cando" Humvees via Ebay - one with a 50 cal HMG mounting, one with a TOW the other with a Mk17 Grenade launcher. All are lovely models even with underneath detailing.
They all appear to be made out of the plastic/resin material that Dragon/Cando use for their 1/144 range. They are so light that when the box in which they were packed arrived I thought for one moment it was empty! The packaging of the models I received was not like the one shown elsewhere in this thread but similar to the Cando 1/44 range. There appeared to be two series, each of three models.
I am sure that when Dragon releases them in their 1/72 Armor range they will be made out of plastic/metal but I am sure that they use the same moulds for:
a) their Dragon plastic kit version
b) the "Cando" version
c) the Dragon Armor version.

Do any of the doors on the CanDo version, open? Are the front wheels able to steer left and right or are they fixed on a single metal axle? Are the wheels a hard plastic instead of rubber?
