Thanks, this will probably be my first venture into 1:32 airplanes. I was torn between 1:32 and 1:48, finally went deep into 1:48. This will be a good place to spread out.

This will be a beautiful model. The HB Dauntless is an awesome model.

sabrefan is quite right, the 1/32 HM Dauntless is their preimer line, just outstanding detail & quality...plus this version is of a very historic aircraft.
But don't wait too long as they only had 4 left
This is one of the most sought after hobby master diecast airplane models ever made.

I ordered mine as soon as I saw the thread. And of course you can't order just one, so I added a Douglas Bader Hurricane and Old Crow P-51D.

The HM 1/32 Dauntless is a fantastic piece of diecast. The detail, and paint are just great.Probably the best 1/32 scale model that I have.
And this first release,"McClusky" is the most desirable one made.

I have two other HM Dauntess'.The pre war "Lexington",with its yellow wings.

And "Ace of Spades"

All great, but the McClusky is my favourite.
And HM is releasing two more versions.
Corey, and zzzipper, you guys will love this model.Great choice.
There is however ,one small problem with this McClusky Dauntless. Some of them suffer from "prop droop".Where the propeller is a little loose, and sags a small amount. If yours has this, pm me,and I can give you some help with this.

Just recieved the HM McClusky Dauntless and it is perfect..the paint and markings are outstanding and it goes so well with the Dick Best Daunless...(both are on display and looking to take out the Jap flat tops Kaga and Akagi)
Also as far as the prop droop goes, yes the one mounted on the plane does droop, but Hobby Master has gone above and beyond, as they sent along a seprately boxed replacement prop that fixes the whole droop problem!
Thank you Flying Mule for snagging a few of these first releases thanks Hobby Master for such a great model.

FYI...they only have 3 left in stock, so time is of the essence if you are on the fence about picking up this first release.

Glad to hear that you really like your McClusky Dauntless, Yoxford.
And to have a replacement prop included is a nice touch.
