Check out the 2 story building Barszo has introduced. If you buy more than one you can create different types of Normandy buildings. I wonder if he has a WWII set on the horizon. I look forward to seeing what will be available at the upcoming toy soldier show at the Woodfield Hyatt at Schaumburg, Il.

Is it one of the buildings sold thru Toy Soldiers of San Diego...?? I haven't checked their site lately, but they did have a lot of nice looking structures, and I think Barszo was one of the brands they carried. Got any pics or links..?? Please post if you do.

Barszo.com is the website. I haven't checked Toy Soldier of San Diego. I think it's a good purchase for the price.

Thanks, I checked it out, it's actually
Barzso.com but no biggie. Not bad looking stuff for the price, and they have a pretty wide selection of styles and periods. The "Old Spanish California Fort" looks freakin awesome for anyone who is into that era..

The "Fortified Abby" looks pretty slick as well, picture it as the SS Junkerschule at Bad Tolz, I think it would fit pretty well.

Just about every year Barzso comes out with a new set from a period. He's never done a WWII set and I'm hoping this is the year. There's usually a new set introduced at the toy soldier show in September at the Woodfield Hyatt.

BTW, I don't see it mentioned anywhere at the website, but I believe these are marketed as being compatible with 54mm, 1/32, or 1/30 scales right...??? The Fortified Abbey really looks great, I may just get one eventually. As you said, I hope he does expand the line for WWII.

The California Fort and Adobe Village series look like they would work very well for a North Africa and DAK setting as well. The Nottingham Castle & Fortified Abbey are simply HUGE

Check out the Castle pic below.... Imagine all the 32X and FOV stuff you'd need to populate one of these things... They aren't cheap, but considering what you get for the $$ I think they are a pretty good value.

A couple of years ago I bought the buildings from the Shores of Tripoli set because they fit well with WWII, North Africa theater. My DAK, Italian and North African British troops and vehicles go well with them. They also go well with my K&C North Africa and or Dept 56 Nazareth structures. What's so great about Barzso's stuff is that they can go with various eras or periods.
