Difference B/T 1:32 and 1:35?

How big is the difference with models sitting next to each other? I had settled on 1:32 as my scale of choice for armor but now thanks to a fellow forum member I have discovered Dragon armor in 1:35. They seem to have a LOT of pcs that I like, the Thor and Loki morsers, Valentine tank, etc. But now I don't know if I want to mix scales.
Thoughts?

Unfortunately the difference is noticeable. Two Tigers side by side will show about an inch difference in length between the two scales. The 1/35 will seem physically smaller compared to its 1/32 brethren. I tackled this issue myself and have decided to remain a scale purist. Some people display them behind the larger items to force perspective. I have amassed what BIY kits I could find out there on ebay. Fortunately there are still lots of planes in 1/32.

Agreed. The only way you might get around this is for photographic purposes in a "forced perspective" kind of display where the smaller model(s) are being displayed further back in the image, in effect giving the illusion of being in the same scale. OTOH, in many cases 1/35 figures and kit (ie. equipment, accessories etc.) will work quite nicely with 1/32 vehicles, structures, and so on. A good example of this would be the Dragon 1/35 "can-do" figures, which in my opinion work very well with 32X armor.

That's cause the can.do are larger than the BIY 1/35 set they are based on. compared Tiger Aces and HG Anzio and the Can.dos are larger(I don't know if it due to the DS used to make them vs the injection styrene plastic used in the kits)

I don't doubt it. In my experience the difference between most (if not all) the pre-assembled and painted 1/35 & 1/32 figures from the manufacturers that I know of, it usually amounts to no more than a few millimeters, plus or minus, in these scales. For most applications, it's barely noticeable, and even those that tend to be on the small end of the spectrum "size wise".... I just pretend they are Hitler Youth... for the Germans at least...

Well, from my experience with a couple of Dragon BIY figure sets, they are definitely smaller than the figures 21C and FOV supplied with their 1/32 vehicles. When I stand them side by side the Dragon appears more "Asian" in stature. Perhaps the manufacturer is assuming Asians are considered the norm for average male height?
I haven't tried the CanDo sets (as there is no one near me selling them except online) but they seem bigger to me than the unbuilt figures.
That said, the 1/35 BIY figures seem better proportioned to the vehicles than those supplied, and I would not hesitate to replace them all with Dragon sets, as it would open up quite a variety of crews for armor and artillery alike (in fact, the sets I bought were a panzer crew for my Elefant and an artillery crew for my 88 ).
