forum opinion on Minichamps Military vehicles

we are looking to add another line to our store and ive been looking into Minichamps 1/35.
ive never seen these but i think they may work well with dragon's 1/35 tanks.

anyone have an opinion?

I have Minichamps & Dragon 1/35 & love them both but if I had to pick one it would be Dragon as I like the paint job on them better
Can I ask the name of your shop ?

does the scale look ok with the dragon?
i own a hobby store in wisconsin

Minichamps is a great line and very heavy (diecast/plastic mix), my only issue is that they sometimes have a problem with accuracy, like 21st cent. did, painting their late Tiger I Panzer Grey. The early issues are very collectible and the line seems to do very well.

The scale look fine together

Dragon and Minichamps look well together. Minichamps are more expensive and they have fine detail. Minichamps also have a wider range of vehicles, WWII to the present.

I love both Minichamps and Dragon Armors. But, I would not display them next to each other.

Dragon Armors are traditional plastic model building. In fact, they are actually built and painted by a worker/model builder in China.

Minichamps are heavy and somewhat accurate. But most of their “paint job” are done as representation, disregarding accuracy.

To answer your question, as long as price is reasonable, I will buy Minichamps. $80-$90 are sweet spot. Personally, I would never pay above $100.

Only have one Dragon{Elefant},but with some more on the way.

And one Minichamps[JagdPanther]

They both have their strenghts.Dragon is more realistic,with better detail and paint.But plastic feel to it.Minichamps are a solid,heavy piece of metal diecast.My only real complaint with Minichamps is with the paint.It seems too glossy,especially for an armour piece.But the sheer weight of it is impressive.

Mind you my "review" is based on one model from each company.

It shows you how they are kind of "clean",and bright.Especially for armour.

My only complaint.But they are heavy,and solid pieces of diecast.

Are the Minichamps tracks metal?
