Would you buy 1/32 scale toy soldiers ?
Been talking to a company that make 1/30 scale soldiers & asked them about making figures to go with FOV armour & he said he would if people wanted them :D

I would and do buy 1/32 scale soldiers but it is a strange question as obviously there are actually quite a few companys making these in metal and plastic painted and unpainted.

what exactley are you thinking of ?

From what era?

Anything other than WWII?

Anything representing, say, ANYTHING from the last 50 or 60 years?

How about some enemies, Cold War or insurgents, Taliban even. Non-combatants? Extras to fill out dioramas? Mechanics and ground crews are also a good idea, as well as soldiers who aren't running and/or firing, but rather just standing about.

Who am I kidding, at this point, if a company like FOV decided to release a pack of 1:32 FOV employees thumbing their noses at the buying public... I'd be in for at least two packs.

C'mon man... We need something!

Sure. I'd really like to know what company..... K&C? Honor Bound? Collector's Showcase?

Yes I would, though I have many of the FOV sets. The 21C vehicles came with a few, but there has always been a lack of ground crew for the planes, unless you buy Corgi.

A ground crew for aircraft would be cool. Bomb carts, maybe ground support vehicles with the figures. Modern or WWII.

will they be plastic or metal? I know price is a factor for me at least and in the case of old nothwest trading company figures i buy the metal casting instead of the painted sets because of the difference in prices.

my thoughts exactly
pre-built pre-painted with some customization
I think some articulation, however basic, could be great

Has always been my dream to work in the same scale as M.A.S.K and then produce my own line of WW2 basic articulated figures.

Price remains a factor. First Legion has wonderful pieces but they're $50 a pop. I already have Britains, which sadly makes so few WWII pieces as does ONTS. Even Conte has disappeared from the market place. Even Figarti makes mainly 1/30 pieces now. New life would be welcome. Are we talking plastic or metal? For a while it seemed we'd be OK with FOV, but they've been missing too. (From a less expensive perspective.)
Desperately need more info..... I'd definitely be interested!

You would have to be talking painted plastic. Because there are plenty of unpainted plastic WWII soldiers available on the Internet, such as from "Toy Soldiers of San Diego" and relatively expensive painted metal, such as "Britains".

But the painted plastic that have been available in the past have been very poorly done. The original 21st and some of the FoV were much better, but sadly their production has stopped.
