Hi guys, what is your opinion of the Corgi 32nd scale P-51D model? I have the Hurricane and the BF-109, and I am looking to get the Mustang as well. I really like the Hurricane, and I hope the Mustang is as nice as it is.

I have 3 Corgi Mustangs and I really like them. They have removeable engine covers and the landing gear is accurate. The only real downside is that Corgi didn't put much stenciling on it, but overall, they are superb.

I don't have good pics of mine but the link that Snake posted is basically the Corgi Bible and is used by Corgi collectors. It has good pics of the individual models, production numbers and rarity.

I got my Corgi 32nd scale P-51D today and all I can say is......WOW! This model really captures the look of the Mustang. Getting the landing gear right really adds to the look, but the whole plane just looks right. I got the Lt. Col. John Elder version. It came with three crew members, and they look nice also. I really didn't think I could like a model as much as my Corgi Hurricane, but this Mustang is something else. Did you guys notice how crystal clear the canopy is? Just so well done. Gota love it! :D

Glad you like our Corgi 1/32 scale Mustang, skyraider.Kind of figured you would.

All the Corgi 1/32 line are really nice, and well worth getting at least one example of each plane.

Some of the Spitfires go for some serious money, but others are more reasonable.

BTW,Corgi are doing their first release of new 1/32 aircraft in a number of years.

A new Spitfire, and a new Me 109.Release should be in a couple of months.

Again, glad you are impressed with your Mustang.
