I have the Easy Model Char Bs and they are excellent buys for the money. I just picked up the two HE-162s and made the necessary corrections ( white, instead of black wing crosses on one model and swastikas not crosses on the tails. This is how they look now:[img][/img]

In the case of the wing crosses I dulled down the white crosses first and then applied them directly over the black ones. The tails were a different matter, however. Here I carefully matched the paint and used it to cover the white crosses only, not adjacent areas. Once the paint dried overnight, I carefully applied some Future Floor Polish by brush over the painted area. When that dried----several hours later-----I laid in the swastikas which were dulled down with Dullcoat. Finally, I did a little very light spraying using Dullcoat on any area that still had too much shine relative to the rest of the model.

An alternative approach, which helps to attain a uniform finish for the entire model, is to apply the decals, as is---not dulled down----and then to cover the entire upper surface with a coat of Future---except for the canopy and any metallic area, of course. Once the Future hardens you spray the entire upper surface ( with the canopy and metal portions masked off )with Dullcoat--but don't overdo it. Give it a few sweeps from a distance of 8 inches, then wait a hour and see if you like the look. If not, repeat the process.

picked up the white 4 last night online.

I'll grab the others soon enough, still waiting on the rest of the A-8s to come out(Mainly the JG5 one)

I got the 162 in today, haven't opened the package yet. So it's sitting on the last box I got in from the Mule last week.

now I am just waiting on my HM Sdkfz.234 to come in.
