only the /2 of the 234 were known a pumas in the german army
all others are just panzerspähwagen.

Probably nothing for me.
Already have two A-1 Skyraiders,and two F-105's.
Although that German Phantom does look good.

looked it up you are CORRECT SIR! it must have been Hitler who named the 1st he liked cat names. tiger,panther,puma and the infamous
"Pussy CAT!"

well then you have Marder, which is marten..which is like a ferret or mink, I guess..never actually seen a marten myself
but the german army used the name for both the SPGs and later post-war a APC..so they hold the critter in some regard.

correct the 234/2 actually came before the 234/1 although the 234/1 was in production the longest of all the diesel 8-wheelers.
