Neat but expensive. I sure would like to see some 1/32 repaints that never made it into production and maybe the Vb Spitfire!

Well that pretty much settles it doesn't it?

If they made a prototype I believe it goes a little beyond "thinking about it."

I would have bought at least 3 of these.

So does this mean we'll never get one from All-Go?

Maybe Revell will make one. :?

The price point on this would have been a loss..to expensive to make for the number they would sell at full price for sure..Even us die-hards couldn't keep 21st alive in the end.

great idea and yea I would have bought one, and def the axis bombers if they made any..but it was a true pipedream to try to market this by a small company that couldn't afford the loss unlike say MRC or Hasbro which can afford market-place failures. Using Hasbro cause of the limitless crap they make, and MRC cause of all the areas they cover in the hobby, if one division takes a hit, they others can offset the blow overall.

Darn, that was further along than I thought. It would have been a fantastic aircraft and the centerpiece of my collection (I'm a big B-17 fan). Guess that one's out of the picture now...

to copy ebay pics just right click and choose save picture

it seems way too big to be 1/32 to me.....if the 55 inch wingspan is correct. That's more like 1/23 scale.

Interesting that it was designed in 2002, just after 32x came out. Cant blame that not showing up on the recession. Seems that TRU just wasn't interested and i guess later WM wasn't either.

A real shame.

Doesn't someone make a complete B17 in 1/32 in Resin or Polystone for less money or maybe a little more that looks hella lot better than a prototype tooling.

Figuri(sp) IIRC is the company, but I didn't follow the product

Figarti makes a 1/32 B17. I think it goes for about $800 or $900....

the prototype is approx. 1/24 scale.....it is not 1/32. I imagine the tooling would have been scaled down from this larger master.

If anyone is looking for an approx. 1/24 B-17, this is probably a good deal as it's most likely the only one in the world.

I'm looking for the B-17 to show up in a model kit.
It's more likely with some releases already of large WWII twin engine aircraft that seem to be very popular with model makers.

I think at least the G was a good choice. :?

I got an Aurora 1/32 B-25, tho...
