Would you know if the dragon sets would look ok with conte collectibles germans?

The Conte Germans are on the big side of 1/32. IMO any 1/35 weapons would look small.

You should check out Toy Soldiers of San Diego. They have German rifles in 1/32 at 30 cents a piece.

I bought a bunch but the weapons are grossly oversized and require alot of work to scale down (tssd figs are more like 1/30). Also the muzzles on the k98's are poorly detailed along with the breech.

Again with Hr does it take months? A fellow converter told me this but said the weapons worked well with conte figs.

I ordered a French 75 and received it about two weeks later. Why don't you contact them and ask?

I'm a repeat customer for H-R. I have had orders take 2 weeks and I've had orders take over a month. It's a basement operation, so there is a lot of variability.
Quality can vary. I love their US carbines, and M1903 but don't think highly of the M1 Garand. The MP44 and K98 look nice. They are more scaled to Airfix sized figures but don't look bad with Conte (certainly better than any 1/35th weapons).
There aren't many alternatives. Andrea used to do some MGs but they were expensive and my usual source doesn't carry them. The weapons in the Airfix Multipose sets are good but there are only a few in each set.
Give H-R an order and see what you think. The prices are certainly good.
