Hi,
Just wondering what people thought of Dragon's just announced 1:24 scale Samurai warrior figure set? We currently dont sell this type of product but they do look quite nice, if the picture tells the whole story. Thoughts?

I am not interested mainly because of the odd scale. I'm still mad at Dragon for ditching Action 18 and now they want my cash for 1:24

I understand the 1/72 and smaller, and I'm just getting into 1/32-1/35, 1:18 is where it all started for me and 1/6 is the grandfather of all scales....but 1:24 they can stick
But thanks for asking our thoughts

i agree with digger. The subject matter is very interesting but not the odd scale..
Digger: if you're looking for 1/18 Samurai, Papo makes a couple, one mounted one on foot. They're a bit pricey. I don't own them but pics are very impressive. I think tomd has them..

Hi,
Agreed on the scale, although they are scaled perfectly with Franklin Mints Sherman tanks, not to mention Kaden's jeeps/halftracks. Paint 'em in olive drab and you got yourself an instant sword-wielding army ready to take on the Nazis!

I'm an odd one to go with the odd scale

I just love Samurai History, and as far as displaying them I think they are awesome for that fact, I may have to make room for a new peice in my collection

Hi King,
Thanks for your input and I agree they look nice despite the odd scale. Maybe they should've included a Tom Cruise figure as the "chase figure" for the assortment.
