Hi,
In regards to the Huber tank, we've given the subject some more thought, as painful as it is. Instead of listing the tank on ebay, we will honor the pre-order price of $49.99 per vehicle. That said, we will ship what we get, 1 to a customer, to anyone that pre-ordered them from us based upon the date the order was received. According to Dragon, we are getting two pieces at the Show and about a dozen several weeks later, so we'll wait until they're all in before shipping them out. That should make fourteen people somewhat happy. Obviously we cant accept any more orders for the tank, unless of course Dragon supplies us with more.
Cordially,
Lightning2000

Thanks, 'lightning2000'.
Have to give credit to an individual for at least informing
others of what was planned, whether others approved or
disapproved.
I remember an experience a few weeks ago when I contacted a vendor about purchasing an 'Arthur Hecht' figure which I knew was available for sale and advertised at the original price. Salesperson told me the items were in stock, but needed to verify how many were available in the warehouse (indicated I would receive a return call in about an hour). Never called - so, I called. Got another individual and when I explained wh and for what I was calling, I was presented with the 'uh, oh, uh, ummmm, uh - we checked and the figures aren't available'. Found the items being offered by the retailer on Ebay an hour later. That was disappointing - I would have had more respect for the retailer if I was told that a decision was made to offer the items on Ebay instead. That was an example where I believe the intention was nothing more than obtaining a few extra dollars.

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words but go share them with Dragon. Maybe they'll take pity on us and slip us a few more for all this grief. Sheesh, I havent even laid eyes on this scourge and already it's given us heartburn. I think I'm going to go lie down now and stare at the ceiling.

What's the difference between a pre-order and a waiting list?
A buyer can cancel at anytime so why not the seller?
I've had pre-orders cancelled when the seller was shorted and left it at that...bad luck.
When you own a small business sometimes you need to hit a home run to make up for the losses or slim margins...it's called free enterprise.
Anyway I bet the lucky few will sell them for a nice profit...in a New York minute...eh Lightning

Hi,
For us, there isnt much of a difference between a pre-order and a waiting list except sometimes we offer a 10% discount for pre-ordering and we need a person's complete billing information to accept the order. SOme items are pretty pricey so we need a firm order on the books before ordering it from the vendor.
Discounts depend upon the item, line, profit margin, blah, blah, blah. Some lines, like Gaso.Line, we cant offer a discount anymore due to the Euro-Dollar imbalance, costs associated with overseas shipping. etc. I could bore you even more, but I think you get the drift...
