BBI SBD Dauntless combat history?

I'm thinking of buying the upcoming HM 1/32 SBD Dauntless #HA0203, but I already have the BBI 1/32 Dauntless "White 46". I want the HM Dauntless because it has more history (Battle of Midway), but the price is steep.
My questions:
1. Does the BBI Dauntless have any outstanding history other than the Truk Island bombing raid?
2. Is the HM Dauntless #HA0203 really worth the high price?

The HM 1/32 Dauntless are pretty expensive.$149.99.
But they have had nothing but great reviews.
If you can afford it,a great model.
Don't have one myself, though. On the list.

From what I understand, the BBI Dauntless was involved on the famous attack on the Japanese base at Truk. The white tail slash indicates it was stationed on the USS Enterprise, which given the history of that ship, gives the plane a certain bit of significance.
The price of the Hobbymaster 1:32 Dauntless is certainly steep - similar to that for the much larger Corgi 1:32 Mosquito. The HM Dauntless is very nice, however, with more moving functions and detail than the BBI version. It also has the famous Midway scheme.
I am pleased enough with my BBI Dauntless and glad I was able to get a version of the plane in 1:32 scale without breaking the bank

GUYS:
Thanks for the help.
The Hobby Master 1/32 Dauntless has a lot more history (it dropped the critical bomb on the carrier AKAGI, Adm. Nagumo's flahship of Pearl Harbor fame) at Midway. I'm mulling over whether its Midway history is worth $150 when I already have the BBI 1/32 Dauntless.
I like my BBI Dauntless a lot---but I'm disappointed that BBI picked a Dauntless without a lot of history compared to their F4F Wildcat with Medal of Honor-recipient James Swett.
