Just received my 21C 1/32 Jagdpanther I bought from ebay...Paid $29.99 plus $6.50 shipping which was the best price I had seen in a while - I think I've seen the same version going in the $50.00's in the past year.
Anyway, it is really nice, Cold Steel, but nowhere near as detailed as the FOV version...I have them side by side and the FOV version is just way better (I paid $42.95 from a webstore for it).
I guess I'm wondering, what is the big facination with the 21C version? I mean, I wanted it really bad because I didn't have it, and I'm glad I got it, but it is inferior to the FOV version, yet now going for similar pricing.

You got a great deal on it, because I've seen em' go for much higher. There just were not/are not as many of em' around. I sold my last example on ebay, I dunno, about a year ago, and it sold for over $60 and the bidding on it was intense. I agree with you on the FOV being nicer, however the 21st was not too bad considering what I originally paid for it, which was about $25 when Wartoyz still had em' online, but that was ages ago, probably at least two, maybe two and a half years as best I can remember.I guess I'm wondering, what is the big facination with the 21C version?

I agree 100%. I have all FOV Jagdpanthers. I finally bought 21st Century Jagdpanther after craving for a long time. It was a let-down. There is no comparison. 21st Century Jagdpanther looks very “plasticky” and almost toy-like. I will keep it because of rarity, but there is nothing really special about it.456THBG wrote:Just received my 21C 1/32 Jagdpanther I bought from ebay...Paid $29.99 plus $6.50 shipping which was the best price I had seen in a while - I think I've seen the same version going in the $50.00's in the past year.

The 21c Jagdpanther was great in terms of 21c 32x tanks when it was released in 2005. Lots of opening hatches, decent tooling, etc. I never understood why they did not do any more paint schemes for it.
Still, as has been stated already, there simply is no comparing the 21c tank with the FOV Jagdpanther. The FOV Jagdpanther is a work of art and one of Unimax's best detailed 1:32 tanks on top of that.
