Does anyone know how to get these to roll better and stay on the wheels? I noticed they dont work as well as the 1:18 stuff.
Thanks guys!

.......... they won't unless you make sure their in correct position on the road-wheels etc... besides , these aren't really meant to roll considering their size , even though despite what FoV claims & advertises about their product. Just like 21st.C's tracks , yer' talkin' 54mm here.
* They are best suited as collectable static pieces opposed as actually playing w/ them.

I agree. The only time I ever roll mine at all is to re-position the spot where the track ends join together, to make the unsightly joint less visible.

Ditto.
I did notice that the AAVP7 will roll quite a distance without throwing the tracks. It's my favorite FOV and is a great platform for modding....if you're into that sort of thing.

Gosh, I guess I'm just lucky. Most of my FOV roll along just fine. It's actually one of the things I enjoy doing with them. I have several terrain features I roll them over and watch the suspension work. Of course, this is all modern FOV, I can't speak for the WWII stuff. Maybe they just wanted to accuratly model the reliabilty of the peices as well?

I've noticed that my older FOV toolings or those that are also sold as Action Grade vehicles tend to have tracks that roll more easily. I would include among these the Sherman, King Tiger, Tiger, Stug III, Matilda, Stuart, M-60, M2 Bradley, M1 Abrams, Paladin, and the MLRS.
Some of the fancier FOV vehicles that did not make it to action grade status and which have tracks that are more difficult to roll are the Panzer IVs, Jagdpanthers, Panther, etc.

Yes, I've had problems with the 1:72 items as well. I never really roll those, but on at least a couple tanks of mine, the rubber seemed to dry out and the tracks came apart.

Never really tried to roll mine, usually roll them across my hand and then put them down.
You have my curiosity up now, I will try and see which will throw the tracks and the ones that won't.
