Interesting ebay find...

Post by ostketten » Sun Feb 14, 2010 8:37 pm

Check out this listing, the guy has a 32X "Eagleston" listed as an "Eileen"... Funny thing is, the box label does say Eileen.... :? Perhaps the guy is not a collector and just doesn't know any better. I messaged him just to give a heads up, and we'll see what happens.

Looks like he revised the items description to Eagleston..

Since he's shown it loose, he's probably got "Eileen" in the "Eagleston" box somewhere, but can't edit his pics because someone bid already.
He got the "Eagleston" description right though possibly off the other sticker.

Wouldn't matter to me that much, but I already have one.

You're probably right, most people probably wouldn't give him a lot of grief over it, but I've encountered enough anal retentive people on ebay before that the potential is there for someone to call him on a "SNAD" after the sale and demand a partial refund, it happens all the time. Anyhow, he replied and thanked me for giving him a heads up and I wish him well.... 8)
