Hey guys, found some pics of Dragon's 2005 releases here on pages 3-5:
http://www.hlj.com/showreports/ths04/military/
They're showing:
2 jagdpanthers
2 panthers
3 elephants
1 King Tiger (Henschel)
2 King Tiger (Porsche)
....and no less than 6 jagdtigers!
All apparently with Zimmerit. I suppose that means all plastic, too.
Plus the already shown Panther F & Demolition Tiger, and various modern stuff - Leopards, Bradleys, etc.
Still no sign of the supposed 4th quarter 2004 releases Brummbar, Sherman, Pz III, Pz. IV, and T-34, so don't really know when we'll see them.

Thanks for the great link.
Oh boy, imagine, Dragon is going to release King Tigers, Jagdtigers, Jagdpanther, Elefants and Ferdinands, how unique, NOT!!!! Give it up Dragon, move on.
It is nice to see the Leopards, Bergetiger and the Panzers. What I would like to know is where can I get my hands on those Dyoshu railroad guns at the bottom of page 5? Who sells Dyoshu, I personally have never seen it before? If you know please post the retailers name and web link.
Happy collecting!!!

Good find EnemyAce! The 1/72 scale really has some great armor available and I am torn between collecting both 1/72 and 1/50. I like the size and heft of a full diecast 1/50 model but Dragon has made the 1/72 very attractive. Better more choices than too few though.

Yes, tracklinks on the Tiger 1s, but not on the Tiger 2 (P)!
I, too, can't believe that instead of branching out with the Allied and Panzer 3 & 4 stuff, Dragon is still hammering away at the German heavies. Even with these having Zimmerit, how many jagdtigers does a guy need? This will make 8 versions in the first two years of the line - isn't that about the total number of jagdtigers the Germans used in the entire war?
Hopefully this will be an incentive for FOV & Matchbox to ramp up their production of allied stuff and the more common panzers.
But seriously, though, I am fast becoming hooked on this 1:72 crack - Dragon could put out (and probably will!) 6 versions of the Maus and I'd by them all!
fyf: The "Doyusha" stuff is the name Dragon uses in Japan, so the rail guns are actually 1:144 scale Can.Do, I think.

Thanks for the info on Dyoshu ( Dragon )
As for the Maus, your wish will come true if Dragon makes it, they will produce 20 versions if their past record is any indication.
If they did make a Maus I would definitely buy one version of it and I'm sure anyone who collects 1/72 armor would also. Why don't these companies listen to what the collectors ask for?????????
Happy collecting!!!

Yes, only 1 Porsche Tiger II that I have seen had tracklinks, and I think that was a RARE one..
I could use 1 or 2 more Jagdtigers, But like Flammenpanzer says, I would like to see a wider variety of stuff..
As far as a Maus goes, I could live without that one, especially 6 versions..
