Hi All,
Talk about keeping a secret. The Franklin Mint/ Armour Collection today announced plans to sell three different versions of the fabled Russian-built MiG-15 jet fighter. Long the nemesis of USAF pilots participating in the Korean Conflict, the MiG gained a reputation for being a nimble, jet-powered warbird, that wreaked havoc on US bomber formations during the early stages of the War. Expected to ship in November, The Franklin Mint/ Armour Collection will pay hommage to the MiG by offering three different versions: one bearing the markings of the Chinese Acrobatic Team, one based on the Soviet Air Force, and the final rendition taking wing with the North Korean Air Force.
