The A-8/R2 replaced the outer wing 20 mm cannon with a 30 mm (1.18 in) MK 108 cannon,

Brass Mk.108 barrels for the outer wing cannons.

I am thinking of trying these out on a spare Black 2, I am going to correct with aftermarket resin parts starting sometime next year. new upper gun cowling and new bubble canopy(taken from either aftermarket or kits)
