I'm sure this has been brought up many times, but I'm wondering how everyone displays their models? I have a mix of 1/16, 1/18 and 1/32 Armor and Aircraft. My problem is the room my collection is in is over the garage and the walls slope inward and I have'nt figured a way to hang Aircraft and they take up alot of room on shelves, anyway I am curious to see how others have displayed their collections.

I not sure if I am allowed to talk about another forum. But, since I am not criticizing nor promoting another site, I will just mention it for information purposes only.
In ”themodelhanger“ forum, there is section called “Collections.” It will satisfy your curiosity.
All my hundreds of tanks and planes are beautifully and proudly packed away in garage:( I had my own office at home to display them. But, three children took each bedrooms as their own. My oldest just went to college. I am hinting my wife if I can get my office back. So far, no dice.

Ooops! I meant to say “themodelhangAr,” and not “modelhangEr.” Also, it’s better to see “presentation” section for display.

Perhaps it's not the most beautiful or sophisticated display, but here's what I've got...

Those type of display cases are what my wife would like me to get, but with the design of the room they just won't work. I figure I'll have to custom make something to fit, I just wish I could come up with a way to hang the planes from the walls.

You may want to try store display maker. I had bookcase custom-made to my spec. As a comparison, IKEA 72" bookcase is approximately $80. I had similar bookcase custom-made for $150. The difference is IKEA bookcase self-destructed after 5 years. The custom-made bookcase is still as good as new. Also, since it’s made with Formica, I can fill the bookcase with heavy reference books without shelves bending. In the future, when I am ready to display all my collection, I am planning to get custom-made display.
