new BBI 1/32 Dauntless?

I saw on Pamsdream.com that the early-World War II 1/32 SBD Dauntless will be released on October 9. This may be a mistake because they also say the F4F Wildcat-Swett is also arriving on October 9.
I didn't see any info on a second BBI Dauntless on Badcat, Flyingmule, etc, so it might be a mistake by Pamsdream.

That 43 paint scheme sure would be sweet. I'm skeptically optimistic.

I think this was the first scheme offered by BBI before they issued the other one.

It looks like they're in stock.
I just purchased one for $35 from "Pam's Dream".

Has anyone purchased a Dauntless from them?

No never purchased from them.
I'm kind of skeptical as to wether it's the 43" paint scheme since there wasn't any announcements of it on it's way, and they don't specifically say which one it is except for the pic, which could be an honest mistake since that's the original BBI released pic. Did you ask them over the phone?

Guess I could call them on monday, they have a number there.

Let us know if it arrives like the picture they have in 43' scheme meantime aye?

No, I didn't call...
I have ordered from them a few times before on eBay and haven't had any problems.

For $35, either scheme is fine with me.

It's not a bad price either.
I already have the first issue though.
Maybe if I was going to paint one.

Aikens has the Dauntless "White 46" as being "retired". But no other dealer has the "White 45" even mentioned.

My Dauntless arrived today from Pam's Dream.

It is the White "C46"... not the '43 paint scheme.
Either way, I am pleased and the price was right.
Shipping & communication were excellent.

Sounds to me like they need to get their **** straight! Their next buyer might not be as pleased as Rad.

I e-mailed and told them I didn't receive what was depicted.

Since I didn't have a Dauntless in the first place, it didn't matter to me which paint scheme I received.
He was very apologetic and offered me a discount on my next purchase.

BTW: It looks as if I got the last Dauntless.

That's awesome Rad. It is great when sellers take care of their customers. The Dauntless is great, I got mine along with the Wildcat last Christmas. I only wish BBI would release more excellent 1:32 aircraft.

I also would like to see BBI release some more 1/32 aircraft.
The Dauntless,Wildcat, and especially the F-4 Phantom were excellent models, especially for the money.
The haven't even done any repaints on these. The Phantom begs for some repaints.Especially SEA camo.

With 21C now gone, there is a large void for 1/32 aircraft.
It is my favourite scale, and hopefully BBI will fill this void.
They did a great job on their first three releases.

The Phantom in Blue Angel livery is a must!

They'll probably want a piece of the action to license the Blue Angels property, which will drive up the price I'm sure.

I grew up across the water from the Angels, and saw them practicing in Phantoms, Skyhawks and Hornets. I was too young to remember them flying the Tigers, although I most likely saw them but what 5-year-old thinks, "Oh, the Angels are flying in Grumman F11F-1 Tigers." Well, yes, a cool 5-year-old would, but there weren't many of those in 1968. But really, the plane I most associate with them is the Skyhawk, so I'd rather a Vietnam-era Phantom in an unusual livery - one not covered yet in the other scales.

[CAT]CPLSLADE:

When I was in elementary school, my oldest brother took me to the North Carolina State Fair---they had a Blue Angels F11F Tiger on display. I looked inside the cockpit, etc.
