Pricey 21st Aircraft 1:32

Thought I'd start another thread for the aircraft. It's nice to know what your stuff is worth me thinks, and I've got a lot of it.
Completed auctions:
Spitfire 1:32 at $45.
British Corsair 1:32 at $41.
I've seen the Corsairs go higher, especially the S1 (white tail) and the Jolley Roger Squadron Corsairs.
There's a lull in buying activity right now with kids going back to school is my guess. Wait till Holiday season we could see the prices jump again depending on the model. But anything rare or semi rare, people seem to fight over no matter what time of year.

Funny the Jolly Roger Corsair going high. One of my local Wal Marts got about 20 of those along with 20 of the Snake Stukas way back when. They had to be discounted.

Thanks, I use that in real life when someone is dogging me, or not by choice happens to be my white whale at the moment.

I sold my JR Corsair used (had rockets glued to underside of wings) but otherwise complete for $57.00
I wished I had bought more... Oh well...

I guess repainting my extra JR Corsair was a mistake. Are the 2-packs escalating also?

Those Corsair - Zero Dogfight packs were the hardest to find, and command the highest price.
Puzzling because the Corsair is a repack of the Jolly Roger, but the Zero is unique.
It's the only one I don't have. Doesn't look like I'll be getting one unless in a trade or something.

My cats sent my Corsair from a parked position atop a high bookcase into a devastating nosedive. javascript:emoticon('

')
Thankfully, the only real damage was that both wheels snapped off cleanly. Anyone have a good suggestion for the best glue for reattaching them?

I'd take a little drill and drill a little hole big enough to fit a piece of metal wire such as piece of a paper clip. Then get some medium CA from hobby-lobby and hit it with accelerator. Its best combination for me as the P-47 I had recently won off ebay had two props snap cleanly off as well the radio antenna but now I can't even tell they were ever broken off after using this method.

Thanks! I will give that a try.

More ending prices on 1:32 aircraft:
Stuka JU-87 Yellow Nose - 50.00
Zero Pearl Harbor - 40.00
Zero Kohnoika - 40.00
These were all "buy it now" but still, these are climbing in price.

What's up with that?!!!
$102 for a 1:32 Spitfire?
This is absurd.
Going to have to watch this one.
Thanks for the number DropTank, I had no idea.

geez, I picked up my 3 spits for 9$ea, along with a White 7(190F).
also got both the yellow and green Stukas boxed, but not ready to part with those yet, but I might let a Spit go for 100.00.
I paid 26$ for two 1/144 Bandai planes, a Hs129B-2 and a Ta-152H-1 ea..and I thought that was bad..closest to that was my 18$ea for Takara Arado 234B-2s, one the Kommander of KG76 and the other in Green camo..F1+GS, 8./KG76..but the Arados are hard to find.

Jeesh! I wished I could get newbies fighting over my auctions like that!

Yeah I bought 3 of those 1:32 Spitfires for $9 too.

Hoping to paint a couple in Battle of Britain colors.
You never know what's going to happen with these toys.
What do they call that, a volatile speculative market?
I've been watching all of the Ultimate Soldier stuff.
I punched up "Ultimate Soldier completed auctions" and found that recently a 1:18 Seeman's BF-109G went higher than a Spitfire NKK. What's up with that?

I bought 3 of the 109's for $25 a piece.
I can't wait to see what the holiday season brings. Who has money like this?
Seems to me when people are having money problems they are even more frivolous. Like shopping is going to make them feel good? It's like a junky on drugs. IMO.
Good for us people that have them. Too bad I'm not willing to let go of even one piece of my collection.

More completed auctions:
ME-109E Yellow Nose Galland $88.91

(I need to check if I have any of those)
FW-190A Black 2 (green box) $56
Spitfire $49
Somebody's got a Corsair vs Zero Dogfight up for auction now it's at $40. I expect it to climb.

Geez, I'm still looking for a 1/32 P-47 Thunderbolt--Dave Schilling at a decent price.

There was a completed auction for the Dogfight 2-pk with the Schilling and an FW-190 for $32.
That's actually a good price, and close to the original price.
None on there now though, I checked.
I think the Schilling P-47 in the single pack is quite rare and harder to find than the Dogfight pack, which is the only one I have.

I never saw the Schilling plane in a single pack, only as part of the "Dogfight" set. That is my favorite of the 32x P-47 schemes, particularly as I was friends with a pilot from the 56th FG that knew Schilling.

there a me-262 right now going up up up!

smalljoes still has tons of 32nd AC, also, the dogfight kit with the schilling/ fw190 for around 32-34.00- most of the singles are just 19.95

Wasn't someone looking for the Schilling P-47? Yes, smalljoes has a lot of stuff, but some planes are curiously absent. Still, it is a treasure trove for someone looking to get some of the 32x planes or to replace broken ones

Dragon53 was looking for that Shilling P-47.
There's quite a few good 1:32 planes left over there at Small Joes.
I have everything there so nothing needed.
That "Cripes A Mighty" P-51B/C & Me 262 Dogfight 2-pk is well worth having. The Mustang is the new excellent tooling, and you can't get it any other way.
Wish I'd have gotten the Corsair & Zero Dogfight. The Corsair is redundant, but still a Jolley Roger, and the Zero is unique to that 2-pk. Alas, nobodies got that one.

samlljoes prices are pretty good for what they have left in 1/32.
