Dragon Armour Leopard 2-A5 error(s?)

Post by ltcbj » Fri May 13, 2005 8:14 am

My Leopard has the barrel tip twisted 90* (facing) to the left. Do they all come this way? and, There doesn't seem to be anywhere (obvious) for the single aa- machine gun to be placed.

I'm not sure what you mean by twisted. If you mean the muzzle reference sensor is on the the side, rather than the top, this is normal for a Leopard.

The MG3 mounts in one of the holes on the hatch on your right (as you face the front of the tank).

Thank you Jorg: I had no idea that was standard. I thought it was made askew. Learn something new everyday.... On the other hand I still can't find any holes in the loader's hatch. there is a spot that I see would be meant for a mg mount, but it isn't deep enough to fit the mg into, at least on my copy.

There should have been a little piece of paper that came with the gun. It shows a small pin hole on the front ring of the left hatch. This is where the gun goes in.
