Thanks for the update! They have some really neat tanks planned and I'm already drooling! I will deffinitely go after that M3 and the Chruchill. The 1:32 aircraft are going to be simply amazing as well! They look as good as the Corgi 1:32 planes and are only a third of the price!

Hopefully these will come to the online retailers so you can get some in Poland, too!

I've been strictly a 1:18 collector, as I regard 1:32 as just too small to do much with. But I finally broke down today and picked up the FOV Palladin (sp?) at TRU. I doubt we'll ever see it in 1:18, and I just had to have one!
It's really a nice little piece.

So I've decide to broaden my horizons a bit. In addition to the 1:48 bombers I mentioned in another thread, I think I'll selectively add some 1:32 armor (mostly modern). Next up - either the Amphibious Assault Vehicle or the Mutiple Missile Launcher, both of which are at one of my local TRUs. Any votes on which one to get?

Actually, the Paladin was named on a list of upcoming 1/18 armour that came out last year from 21c. Also on the list was: winter Panther, Winter Tiger, M113, Dodge truck, Panzer IV...

So, the list seems to be coming true, slowly but surely, so you may see one at some point in the future. Also on the list was a T-34, Wespe, german truck, Abrams, an unamed German tank, unamed artillery piece.

why limit yourself to just one? satisfy your hunger and buy both :)
unless that exceeds your budget, in which case you should go with the Amtrack. The new pieces (MLRS/Amtrack/Paladin) started hitting shelves in my AO last week and I snatched up several or each as FOV does seem to move pretty quickly around here. I can say I was a bit disappointed (even though I already knew) that the Amtrack lacked interior detail and the ramp is fixed in the up position..nice piece nonetheless.

WGP Klaus:

I appreciate your thoughts! I'm pleased to report that, while I hadn't yet seen your comment, I had reached the same conclusion and picked up both this morning! So I now have 3 modern FOV pieces.

Used both of the TRU online coupons, so I feel like I got a decent deal on them (2 pieces with $10 off, and then the 2rd piece at 20% off).

Yes, it would be nice if their armor had more opening hatches and interior detail. They're still nice anyway, though, as you said.

I also wish they'd offer packs of additional crew figures.

And if they come out with any of these (21C, bbi, whoever) in 1:18 I still want them!

How come the Paladin and the AAVP7A1 are only available in the Action Series?

As I understand it certain models have been brought out as exclusives for TrU and Target, these include the Paladin, M3A2, MLRS et al, and as part of the 'action' series. Later this year or next (or never) these will come out as 'collector's' series and become available to hobby shops.
