21C and FoV items abound at...

the Patton Museum gift shop at Ft. Knox, KY. I was there at the end of May and they had a BUNCH of 21C and FoV items in stock. 1/32nd scale and some 1/18 pieces. Not cheap (full MSRP) but they had a nice selection!

that is alot different from my last visit.plus more AFVs are out now too since my last visit..but I did get to take photos from inside the Konig..that was summer of 1999...geez I am old...and I got to climb around the Pz III and Pz V that were behind the building(with the help of ladders)

That last one is a puzzler. A link to Maine? The Patton Museum is at Ft. Knox, KY, about 25 miles south of Louisville.
I was there over the weekend of 5/30-31/09 and the gift shop was open and there was no construction seen.
One detail - the Armor branch of the US Army currently trains all tankers and cavalry scouts at Knox, but due to the Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC), the Armor School will be moving to Ft. BEnning, GA in the next few years. The current collection of over 250 pieces of armor and artillery will be split. About 80% will go to the new museum to be built at Benning and some stuff will stay behind at a "George Patton Museum" that will continue at Ft. Knox. If you go to the current museum you can only see about 33-40% of the collection. There are bunches of vehicles in storage awaiting restoration or exhibit space. One can see them, but you have to make prior arrangements with the Museum staff.
Over the weekend of 5/30-31 the Patton Museum had a 60th Anniversary celebration with a lot of outdoor exhibits and a mock WW2 battle. For about 300 photos, see my Picasa album at;
