1/48 Franklin Mint AH-64D Longbow Apache Review

Finally got a chance to get one of these gem. It's a very detailed model!

It also come with a nice base.

I forgot to take pics of the cockpit interior, but it's far more detailed than the 1/18th BBI Apache.

Very detailed rotors.


The details on armaments, like the hellfire missiles, hydra rockets, and the 30mm gun are nicely done.


The engine covers can also be removed.

Overall, it's worth what I paid for it. Actually, it's worth the MSRP imho, but I'm glad to find one a little cheaper.


Sadly, like all FM models, it does not come with a crew. But seeing it's in 1/48th scale, it's easy enough to find some aftermarket crews.
