BBI repaints, are they ever going to happen?

So realistically, will we ever see BBI repaint any of their 1/32 planes? I got lucky with the Phantom being a paint scheme I like, but I've really been holding out for Coral Sea or Midway repaints for the Dauntless and Wildcat. And now I'm getting impatient. To the point of buying the planes anyways and trying to repaint them myself. So, does anyone want to take an educated guess and tell me if I should keep waiting, or take the plunge? I can't understand why a company wouldn't take advantage of their existing molds and put out a few more schemes. They've done it for their 1/18 planes. Is the economy that bad that they can't even risk repaints?

That's a good question.
Haven't heard anything out of BBI for a while. Your guess is as good as mine.
You would think some repaints would be in the pipe already.
However, they are outstanding in their paint schemes now. Though I would have preferred Midway or Coral Sea versions myself.
The Wildcat is pretty close though. It's 1942 James Swett Guadalcanal version. I think he shot down 7 Vals on his first time out in this plane. To me that's a definitive version. Though it would be pretty easy to make into a Midway or Coral Sea one, with the 1942 star insignia already on it.
Both have the early war blue paint schemes.
I'm tempted to make a Midway SBD myself.

I'm not optimistic about BBI 1/32 repaints. As I've posted before, below is the 1/32 Dauntless repaint that was never released---not to mention the 1/32 F-104 Starfighter that also wasn't released.
