I certainly miss it. MD has been a blast but with the exception of Target there is nothing to be had. And Target has nothing but the same darn stuff.

More like a dud
The Spitfires never sold in my area until severely discounted, and most had QC defects. It was a great plane on its own, but overall the Spitfire release was only a desperate, and perhaps half-hearted effort by 21c...

well I am just glad to have gotten a Vee of them while they were out..although I would have loved a 1940 Mk.I in 32x
Still we missed alot of possibles..like a Ju87D/G or P-38 or anything Russian.
I just say Trump is doing 1:32 Il-2s this year but they will be $$$ if their new stuff is any account(saw their 1:32 A-10 and the box is HUGE)

Those were the glory days, walk in, shelves well stocked with 32x.. Now, nothing but sterile toys for the sterile world.
Good thing I have lots of 1/32 kits to build.

now I wish I had gotten a few other 1/6 MG34 sets..just to have them as they were well made, esp for the markdown prices WM had them at.
We still have 1/18 .30 cal MGers here and 1/144 tanks and planes..and those 8inch guns and 8" gun playsets and that's it.

I bought a bunch of the 1/6 Mg sets, Panzer. Let me know if you need some.

One less reason for me to go into Walmart.
I managed to get at least 3 of those last Spitfires on clearance.
They'll make good custom paint subjects.
You could just copy the 1:18 ones. Though the NKK' fuselage art might be difficult.
Lots of possibilities for something that cost not much more than an action figure.

Hey, has 21st formally gone out of business? Unless I missed something, I think not. I'm sure that within the next year or so 21st will have either rstarted or a new company will have taken its place. No need to get so nostalgic.

I've had my Spitfire for quite a while and it's awesome, no QC problems at all on that bird. Which is pretty damn odd for a 21st vehicle.
I can't remember who it was on here who always had all the "inside information" on 21st? Why no info anymore, are they in fact pushing up daisies or what?

I don't know, but it breaks my heart, really. But hell, I've got one kick ass collection to show for it. Not to mention people receive it REALLY well. (It pays to be friends with the odd types)
It's funny when everyone drops jaw when they come in here...
I still need a SBD and a Wildcat... frickin' money man.

Looks like they're cuttin' the tubes, and sowin' her up.
No more octoplanes from 21st.
