Action Series now in Kmart

Post by Ziegler2112 » Tue Mar 10, 2009 10:02 pm

Went to pick up some oil for the car today at Kmart today and across the aisle in the toy section were lots of FOV items including 5 or 6 1/32 scale vehicles priced at $29.99. There was also a generous assortment of 1/72 items as well. I wasn't even aware Kmart was carrying FOV. Sorry if this info has already been posted somewhere else.

Its not anything new - K-mart got the FOV vehicles before the holidays in 2008. Still, it is kind of cool as the prices are somewhat cheap and the vehicles are better quality than the new Bravo Team items.

and k-mart doesn't sell them very quickly so sometimes they put them up at 20% off.

I went to a regular K-Mart and a Big K-Mart this morning. The K-Mart had tons of 1/72 soldiers, about 10 1/72 tanks, about 8 1/72 aircraft. These are all from previous "seasons" so nothing new from the latest go around.
They also had bunches of 1/32 which I don't normally collect so I did browse through those on the off chance they had something of interest to me, but they didn't.

Then I went to the Big K-Mart and there was nothing from Forces of Valor.

It's good to know they have it as the Targets in my area have closed out there stuff, which is normal, and should return this fall. So at least I now I have two places to look, K-mart and Toys-R-Us.

the two Krap-Marts in my AO always appear to be ready to go out of business at any moment and I've only ever found one or two things I was looking for there so I think I will pass, especially if it is all old FOV stuff.

Great if you want to stand in line for 45 minutes, then require a price check, then have seagulls land on your shoulders since you smell like a landfill.

Oh, good 'ol K-Marche...

Not all K-Marts are so crowded. My local K-Mart is basically in and out.
