Just looks too much like their earlier releases for me to buy it.

Quite similar to the old Tiger....

Ha ha. All this time I've had my Action grade Tiger I and never tried opening the engine compartments (the tow cables block them, anyway).

Seems to have a LOT of little holes on the top of the hull. More than needed for the cables, which seem to be attached to the sides.

There's more tow cables that go on top that fill those holes. IDK why they wouldn't put them in this studio shot though...

And I agree with most of you here, it is just too similiar to previous releases for me to buy it.

Nice looking Tiger, but as was previously said, it is similar to the old ones. Also, given that it nearly costs $60, I think I'll just keep the one I bought at Target for $25. That one turned out to be Enthusiast grade too

Big mistake here ! Fire extinguisher where grey, never red ! Common mistake anyway.

Never have understood how these companies pick their color schemes. There were so many different schemes used on the Tigers, why did they pick one so close to their first series of releases? And then they wonder why their releases don't sell well. Kind of feel bad for the etailers who are trying to sell them. Its not their fault that FOV makes a bad marketing choice. And it seems we all agree that with the economy the way it is, $60 is going to be a hard sell. Makes you wonder if they have some kind of deal going with Target to carry them also. If they have, it would have to be a much less expensive model since $60 is a little too pricey for it to be on the toy isle.

[+] > FoV did an Eastern Front "white-washed" turret # 200 version ,
which is Retired now , but is my favorite and best IMHO.

So let's see....

Bankers make loans for houses with inflated values to people they know can't pay them back.

The government requires that poor people without income should own homes they cannot afford and that banks must lend them the money for initial purchase.

1/72 scale toy tanks are selling for $25+.
Tiny 1/285 scale unpainted tanks sell for $1.99 each.
Unbuilt plastic models sell for $25+.

I suspect that this color scheme was chosen because it was cheaper (maybe they had left-over paint) and they simply expected people to buy whatever gets put in front of them. We've been doing that for years.

Yeah. $60 seems like an awful lot. Especially for a model that was mis-done.

* Seems to me , that a "white-washed" version would've been the cheapest route to take.

Not if you first have to underpaint a different scheme.

Personally I like Winter schema.

So I often whitewash my own.

While that scheme looks better than what we saw on the first release (bought it, kept it for a while, sold it off without regret), it sure looks a lot better. Anyone else ever get the first release? That was one of the first 1:32 tanks I got rid of last year... it wasn't that great. Not that I would buy this one... I have way too many Tigers in 1:32, 1:35 and 1:72 as it is.

Plus the thing costs way too much.

I have that first release I believe. Stored somewhere in the basement at the moment. I think it is the one that came with two cables for the left side and none for the right.

[+] > Yep , I remember those. Had two of'em.

......... and here I thought that the (S-1) KT had the worst paint job FoV could slap on a tank.
"That dingy , rusty , over-weathered , dowsed w/ thinner look".

->>>-----> glad I got rid of those fer' sure.

I would consider picking up any that are available due to dislike.
