Not that bad for the cash, as Trump's new 1/32 stuff is going for over 100$ for single engine planes.

Write up on the kit from the store.

Revell AG/Germany plastic scale model kit #04728
1/32 Junkers Ju 88A-1 "Battle of Britain"

New model kit! Many details!
Scale 1:32
No. of parts 281
Length 453 mm
Wingspan 571 mm
Skill Level 5
Assembly, paint, glue required.

281 parts, might be alot for a plane, but I've dealt with armour kits with over than number. 70$..not bad..although for Revell's 110C/B I bought the price was less than 28$. So there is a jump in price for Revell.

Revells Ju-88 is an excellent value for what you get, I have always felt Trumpeters 1/32 stuff was WAY over priced.

I'm actually considering that kit myself, seeing as how it is more likely time will come full circle and the Third Reich will rise again before 21st makes one in 1/32.

I doubt anyone will make a pre-built twin motor..seeing how something like P.38, Beufighter, 110 haven't even been talked about.

Anyways any twin would cost a "toy" maker more to tool and produce than they would ever get back selling them, well maybe Hobby would do it, since they are selling SBDs at over 100$ a pop.

I just kinda wish it was a A-4 inplace of the early A-1 model.

I don't know, Revell's new 110C/B is selling well, hopefully this will as well..and more twin props will come out down the road. Least with the Ju88 it's a good start for larger planes.

Digging through ebay, I found a UK supplier asking only ~$49 plus $22 S/H for the Ju88. Seeing as how that is so much cheaper than the local boys, I'll be able to now get it AND buy all my paints/etc with the money I save.

Oh, thats right. They are on ebay for $200-$300.

Here's a great build to start with from the master himself.

looks like an impressive kit. 125 parts just for the cockpit though...eech.

This one is twice as nice though:

I prefer paying $70 over $175 so I'll stick with the 1/32 version.

I checked out the model at my local hobby shop. Very, very nice, but it was over $75 and the skill level was 5 out of 5. My model buildng skills are not that great and I admit I don't have the patience to build it.....
