What's happened to 21st Century toys ?

One year since the last issues ( Panzer 38t , Märder etc...)

Is this manufacturer definitively dead?

I really hope not.
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Besides a few figures there is no armor, playsets or aircraft at any of the WM's in my AO plus the shelf tags are gone. I know we've all thought 21st was finished before and they popped back but I dunno this time. No word from them at all not to mention they fired that designer guy. :? :? :?

Considering the deals we are getting at MD, i am afraid this may be the case.

I suspect 21c is either dead or in a dormant state. I mean, if major financial institutions in this country need government bailouts, 21c has got to be in even a worse mess - and they have no hope of government aid...

What I do expect is that the last few items in 21c's warehouse will go to TRU and trickle away from there. That already seems to be the case in regards to the ecclectic selection of older figures that were put out over the holidays.

Yeah I got a OMG para with an M1 Carbine, very nice indeed. I picked him up instead of the BBI because of the Carbine. :D

Just my take on it and hope I'm wrong I feel they are tango uniform and very probably permanent, jmo. Old stuff showing up at some retailers obviously coz they're "cleaning" out warehouses, no news none nada zilch, & so on. Plus with China foolishly raising production costs, shipping, etc. it'll be that much harder for 21st to stay afloat especially if they do in fact owe the Chinese a small fortune as everyone claims. Not sure if MD is selling off 21st stuff cheap coz they know something or suspect something or if it's simply just an annual sale..who knows at this point.

Given the huge amounts of stock MD has up for sale, much of it stuff they did not show in inventory recently I think this is part of a 21C sell off. Corey from smalljoes stated in the 1/18 forum that the 21C distribution center is in AZ, not far from MD. Connect the dots. :?

If 21C is dumping old inventory, great. If they are not replacing this inventory with new, bad.

Monkey Depot

ive said before in other posts. i received an inventory list from 21C and they have almost nothing available. 1/32 has a couple older planes and some playsets. weapons sets in 1/6th scale and a few 1/18 items mainly vietnam stuff like platoon figures and m-48. i dont know whats going on since they wont say. but they arent restocking inventory.
