1/32 Avenger

I guess if we want one, we'll have to build it from the Trumpeter kit.

Here's one on Ebay already built (not mine):

Nice one. $30 is a little steep for shipping though.

So that's what GHWB's Avenger looks like. It's got his wife's name on the side.

Would love to have that in 1:32.
I'm hoping BBI continues it's 1:32 Navy theme with the Avenger and Hellcat. Maybe even a Helldiver.
Then we're pretty much covered for WWII Navy except for some obscurities like the F2F, Kingfisher, Buffalo, and the TBF Devastator.
All would be welcome in my book.

Is there a 1:32 Hellcat coming out? Too bad I can't build models anymore.

I hope BBI follows its 1/32 Dauntless and Wildcat with a 1/32 Avenger.

Why couldn't they? An Avenger in 1/32 would have a wingspan only about 4 inches wider than a Stuka and be only about 2 inches longer. That would be a tight fit in a 21st box, but I think it can be done.

I'd miss folding wings, but if they had to leave that out to make it work then so be it - I just want the plane and I hang mine anyway.
