Small Scale Military Headquarters

I got my gas money' worth. A brummbar to repaint and my eyes bugged out as among the jumbled piles of boxes was the elusive (I have only seen it on eBay) S2 marder IIIm.
The paint job is not as bad as it appears from afar. It is actually very well detailed and weathered.
So I went into a walmart a 1am on a lark while hunting down a baby bouncer for the kid and find the ONLY TWO clearance items that are 1:32 tanks and they turn out to be a Brummbar and a freaking s2 marder? What are the odds? Also I wonder what they had LAST WEEK if these guys were still on the shelves...it drives me nuts to wonder.

I will post pics of the s2 IIIm in a few minutes and I will be selling it for a day (today) in the BST forum here and then move it to ebay if no one offers for it.

Those are rare? my wal-mart has a few of those last time I checked they were 9 bucks on clearance. Plus they had the brummbar which I bought. Maybe i will go back and pick em up just cause then

the s2 marder is all over ebay. i dont think its that rare? i have 4 and passed on many others

Depends on where you are I suppose...I have yet to see this or S2 Hetzer by me.

first one I have seen outside of ebay, and the brummbar I got? misssing 2 spare roadwheels and... the track on the rigt side away from view is GONE

No S2's here. The Walmarts by me have absolutely nothing. I fear 21st Century at Walmart is a thing of the past.............

Never liked the Brummbar. All we had here were a bunch of Fireflys in one store and a mix of Howitzers, Fireflys and 38T's in another and a few Fireflys at my neighborhood WM. No "blasts from the past" items.

I had a missing track the same way on a Opel I sent to a friend...and the FW190 i just sent to MikeG is missing it's tailwheel

21st C's distribution is flood or famine, depending where you are. Combine that with Wal Marts totally hit and mis-distribution and what I have never ever seen you have too many of and are blowing them up with left over fireworks.
