I have 9 or 10 of these dioramas. Don't think I paid more than $35 for any one of them. Got one of the desert ones for $15.

The winner sniped it four seconds after the next losing bidder and two seconds before the auction closed.

The seller said that he had several in his description so I really don't see the scramble.

As I mentioned, I got all of mine for $15-$35. All from good old evilbay.

$15 is an absolute steal, and $35 is still a great deal for any of the FOV diorama series IMO. I'm no expert on the chronology of the FOV product line, but I am pretty certain these have been OOP for quite some time, so I'm not sure about how "readily available" they are now. I have one of the Caen Tiger dio's tucked away around here someplace, and as best I can remember I paid about $55 delivered for it, that was about 1 year ago and I considered it a fairly good deal at the time. I believe I also have a Normandy KT dio that I paid about the same price for. $115 does seem excessive however, especially if the seller has multiples for sale.

Think they came out in 2004. I believe they were a hobby only item and not available at the big store outlets like the rest of the FOV line. Retail was about $70 when they were first released. I have several of the smaller ones that had the jeep and schwimmer wagon.
