New FOV at Target

It was like X-mas morn after the fact. Found new FOV vehicles and figs...1:32 Striker, Bradley (these seem to be plastic now); also a 1:32 Blackhawk and P-51 Mustang (the omnipresent blue nose type). Also newly sculpted modern 1:32 infantry. There was another line of modern troops...these looked to be between 4-5" with nice articulation supported by a desert dune buggy type vehicle. Oh, and the GI Joe Mighty Muggs are out too!

Are my eyes deceiving me? A 1/32 Stryker?!! I thought that had been cancelled?!! A 1/32 Blackhawk?!! Do you have pictures?
I was at a Target today and they did have the Elephant, HIMARS and woodland camo M60..... but nothing like what you've described. Did you buy all of them?

What is the price for the M60-NATO paint scheme?

I actually wish I found the Elephant instead of the Stryker (not a modern guy...love the WW2). Anyway, I almost didn't buy it (19.99), but it looked too cool. And the tanker crew set (4.99) was well done, so I got that too. I'm very intrigued by the move to plastic. I wonder if this will be permanent.

Dragon,
The M60 was $25.99. The tag beneath the product said $17.99. For a moment I got excited, but when I scanned all the vehicles they all read $25.99 and when I read the tag closer it said "32 inch vehicle," whatever that is....

Mike, GI Toys,
You're sure it was a Stryker in 1/32 scale? There was a prior topic in this forum where the cancellation of the Stryker was discussed because of "political" reasons and some problem the PRC had with this vehicle.. Please tell me more about the tank crew set and the 1/32 Blackhawk....

KETELONE:
Thanks for the info.
I'm surprised about the M60 price---a few months ago, the M60 was listed as only available at Target.com for $40 or $50 with free shipping...now it's not listed at all.
I have to go to my nearest Target to see if they have the M60---$25.99 is a bargain.

Dragon,
Recently I've also seen woodland camo Abrams and Iraqi Freedom Bradleys. Both of these vehicles were Enthusiast grade in Action grade boxes...... I'm dying to know more about the Stryker and Blackhawk.

I'm a WWII guy myself but I'd get a Blackhawk just to commemorate all the times I've been raped by the miniguns playing Battlefield 2.

Here's the package info: US M1126 Stryker ICV (says "only at Target") on the front. The sku is 18876 75500.
The vehicle is in dark OD green (no cammo). As stated previously, it's pretty light, so I'm assuming it's all plastic. I'll liberate it from the package this evening and give more details when I get a chance.

Sounds like its time to start hitting my local Targets again

I'm glad these are being spotted in California, but it may still be a wait. I HAVE to get that Stryker

Ok, the Stryker is out of the package...all plastic, like I surmised. What's particularly disappointing is that only the commander's and gunner's hatches open. Everything else is molded shut, including the rear door used by the infantry for entry and egress. I don't get that...it's a personnel carrier, yet you can't load it with personnel!? Oh, well. Can't complain for 19.99. A pretty sharp looking piece nonetheless.

I believe it's still important, for its impromtu appearance.
Did anyone get wind of this before this appearance?

Excellent reports Mike, happy to know Target is not getting rid of FOV as I was thinking for awhile compared to all the doom and gloom reports of 21CT in Wal-Mart and recent clearancing of all of FOV's scales. Glad to know California scores first dibbs again too!

1:32 Stryker is alive and here! I wonder if FOV will consider making them in 1:72 scale too. The changeover to all plastic isn't a bad idea considering the times and issues nowadays... I think Die-Cast will be probably more profitable for FOV as an Enthuisast Edition only.
I will be hitting Target again tomorrow.

$19.99. that's a bargain! I'll be on the lookout for it.
Keep in mind FOV's M113's troop door didn't open either

What about the Blachhawk?

I checked my Target---no M60 Patton. Just a 1/32 tan Bradley and a 1/32 D-Day 2-1/2 ton truck, both for $25.99.
They also had the FOV BISMARCK---that ship looked awful.

I think you guys are getting your hopes up a bit too much. These are Bravo Team packaging and the M1A! and Bradley look identical to their 1/18th brothers. The Stryker is a piece of garbage in comparison to the Unimax diecast 1/32nd line. The molding is worse than the diecast, not like Dragon or 21st Century plastic. I bought it and will treasure the Stryker only because it is the only one in existance. The good news is, a 1/18th scale Bravo Team Stryker is now much more than a childs birthday wish.

Not bad, this gives everyone a rough idea what to look for, thanks for posting.
A moment ago I almost got excited, I thought FOV was making a M109 in 1:18 scale!
So that explains why all the price tags say "Bravo" in Target, it looks like FOV is rechristening itself, like 21CT with its Four Star Military! Maybe 21CT isn't going down yet, just a name change hopefully.
Actually the 1:18 scale Woodland camo M1A1 Abrams I know for sure is definitely identical as the 1:32 OIF M1A1 Abrams. They both have the number "12" written on the side of the tank from what I remember.

Thus far Bravo Team products in my area have all been 1/18 scale with Shermans and Abrams. In any event, I welcome new vehicles.
