Ostfront.

I sure wish 21C would make a 1941 model T34. I know FOV has made the T-34/85 but at $55 a pop I can't afford many of these. Then the chassis can be used for numerous SP guns. I would buy these by the friggin' case!

Ive talked at length with Michael C. from 21C 3 years in a row at Ihobby Chicago and they have no plans at all for a T-34. I push them every year. it needs to be done in an affordable 1/32 version for sure. I think its a garaunted winner and the 1st to do it can only win big!

Other.

WWII is great. But it's been done. It's time to move on to the latter half of the last century. Or even some of this one. Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom... Or even items that haven't really been to war, like the Leopard 2.

Being generous, you can say that WWII showcases about 10 years of mechanized military hardware, of the, what, 100 years worth that are out there? We don't need another Tiger, Sherman, P-51, or ME 109. It's time to share the spotlight with the T-55, M113, and Huey.

But that's just me. And anyone with a bit of business schooling will be able to quickly point out that I don't know what I'm talking about. Seriously, the Sherman has outsold the T-55 for all of 2007 and 2008. Numbers don't lie, right?

I agree with Red - more PTO vehicles and figures! While not really noted for their armored forces, the Japanese have yet to be covered by most companies (outside of kit form). Something like the Type 95 tank would be great. Also, repaints of existing US vehicles in PTO schemes is a must. 21c has only made their M-5 Stuart in a USMC scheme. They could easily do a 1/32 repaint of the "COED" Sherman or some other scheme. On top of all that, where are the 32x USMC figures, showcased on the back of a box three years ago? My 32x Japanese troops are getting bored

I voted the Pacific. Though with me it's mostly the aircraft; P-39, P-40E, Hellcat, Avenger, Kingfisher, etc.

Some Twin engine aircraft like a PBY, Grumman Goose, C-47, B-25, P-38, etc.

Wouldn't mind seeing some more Japanese aircraft too, as all we've gotten is just the Zero. There are so many that could be done; Val, Kate, Oscar, Judy, Tony, Frank, Rufe, etc. and Twin engine Betty.

A Higgins boat landing craft, various Amphibian vehicles, PT-109, Flame thrower Sherman, Japanese mini-subs, island emplacements pillboxes, and armor would be cool also. Even nice looking palm trees.

Agreed! As long as some good Afrika Korps stuff is released too.

I voted Russian, just because there are none.
IL-2 Sturmoviks, La-5/7, Mig-3, Pe-3, P-39 Airacobra, Yak-3

PTO would be an EXTREMELY close second.
P-38 Lightning, P-40E Warhawk, F4F/FM-2 Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, Ki-43 Oscar, Ki-61 Tony, and Ki-84 Frank

As for ETO:
Hawker Hurricane & Tempest, Spitfire Mk IX, Me-163 Komet and He 162 Volksjäger

But then again... They should make one from each Theater of operation per release.

Remember that if you don't mind the slightly toyish look there is a type 95 tank and a Higgins boat in 1/32. I think the tank is bleh but the Higgins boat looks good with some TLC. I love the PTO and our USMC but except for AC there isn't much going on for ground pieces. Figures, sure. Armor repaints, sure. Who is going to buy a Japanese tank besides us diehards?

Eastern Front gets my vote. There are all kinds of possibilites for lend lease, as well as natively produced stuff on the Soviet side, who for example wouldn't like to have an IS-2 Stalin or an SU-100, and a T-34 model for 1940-1943 is long overdue IMO.

I would be happy with something from any World War II Theater. But most of what you guys picked would also be my choices.

I voted for N. Africa/Mediteranean. I'd like to see some Italian and French vehicles.

The only French tanks from WWII I've been able to find are K&C and they're not cheap. As for Italian tanks, I had Charlie at Wooden Warrior make me some. I did purchase the WWI Renault French tank (ONWTS) because believe it or not some of them were still in use at the beginning of WWII.... They didn't fare very well.
