Interesting Small Scale Find, Patrouille de France

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 10:07 pm

Greetings:

I found this set on ebay's French site of all places and since I am into airshows I thought it would be a neat addition. It's an eight plane set of the Patrouille de France Aerobatic team. The Alpha Jets are 1/100 in scale and the set was made by a company called Atlas. It comes with a back stand that allows the planes to be displayed in formation, much like my Red Arrows set. This is an older set and it has some light wear, but it's a pretty interesting addition to my collection.

I also have to say I had a very positive experience with the seller who sold me this in France. He was helpful and we got around a significant language barrier and got the deal done. He also packed these perfectly for the trip to the US.

Here's a picture of the set. It came with a paper containing information, but I can't read it because it is in French. I think it gives a history of the team.
