didn't buy but I think I might tomorrow, I knew it didn't look right, but didn't look bad with the exposed treads.

They are packed with the fenders off. They a blistered to the package.

I'm hoping he meant to say the fenders were missing from the box he found.

Yes, the fenders on the action series are in the blister on the inside of the box.

They are there on the back along with the towing cables, spare track links and antenna. For an action-grade vehicle, there is actually a little bit of assembly required on the Elefant 8)

no, I didn't..I thought the exposed treads was strange from the online pics I saw. This was the first elefant I saw in person...didn't even pick it up to look at it close as I didn't care for the price for a action grade or the detail/paint..esp compared to my DML 1/35 Elefant S1.

opening hatches or not...it just did get me interested.
